Course Instructor

Randy Peters, M.Ed., M.CJ

Owner/Founder Floor Groomers


Mr. Peters is the founder and CEO of Floor Groomers. Floor Groomers specializes in epoxy with flakes coatings, solid epoxy coatings, metallic coatings, concrete stain, grind and seals, concrete moisture mitigation, surface preparation, and concrete grind down applications. After being in the industry for many years and installing thousands of square feet of decorative coatings, advanced epoxy floor coating systems, and working with hundreds of clients, Mr. Peters decided to write a series of publications on epoxy floor coatings. Mr. Peters is the author of Epoxy Geek, “The Blueprint From Start to Finish” and Metallic Geeks, “The 6-Steps to Designing Metallics Surfaces."

 

Prior to starting his career in the resin coating industry, Mr. Peters was a prominent law enforcement official who served twenty-four years of honorable service in his community. During his tenure as a law enforcement official, he earned fifty-six service awards for his commitment to the citizens he served in the community and the agency he represented. He also served in the United States Military during Operation Desert Storm and earned an honorable discharge. Mr. Peters also spent thirteen years as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Criminology where he instructed undergraduate students taking criminal justice courses to obtain their associate degree. Mr. Peters holds dual master’s degrees. A master’s degree in adult education and a second master’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in critical incident management.
